Healthy crock pot comfort food for chilly winter days!

-beef broth from the can
-ground pepper,ground paprika, salt
-diced beef (500-900g),(use 2 cans of beef broth when cooking 900g)
-diced celery and diced carrot
– corn from the can ( 350 or 450g)
– 50 ml of water (optional)

Place meat in the slow cooker. Mix rest of the ingredients in a bowl and coat meat with the mixture. You can add water if broth is too thick. Make sure there’s at least 0,5 cm of fluid at the bottom.
Cover, and cook on high setting for 4 to 6 hours (4 hours for 500g of meat is more than enough) or 10 to 12 hours on low.
Tip: There’s always a lot of sauce left in the slow cooker. You can bag it and freeze it for later. It’s delicious!

  1. Mila, this looks so delish! It seems as if the potatoes and the broth make their own gravy, this is the best as it cuts down on the work by making the flavorful sauce as it cooks. Love my crock pot and I’m pinning this to try, looks like a great winter recipe for comfort food!!!!
