Slow cooker apple crumble

Slow cooker apple crumble

There’s nothing better than sweet, delicious taste of apple crumble (especially during fall and winter months)! Here’s an easy, no fuss recipe to make in slow cooker. Part of Awesome Crock Pot Recipes series.

150- 200 ml of water, 6 -7 medium sized apples, 4 teaspoons of sugar, ready to use crumble mix 225 g, milk chocolate with caramel filling (half a block).

Wash, peel and cut apples into small chunks. Pour water into the slow cooker, throw apple chunks, add sugar and stir. Add apple crumble mix. Depending on how you like your crumble: leave crumble mix at the top or mix it well with apples. Please note: because of the nature of slow cooking, your crumble will turned out much different from the one baked in the oven. It will be soft and creamy, but still insanely delicious! Cover and cook on high for 2 or 2,5 hrs. Switch crock pot off, uncover, throw chocolate pieces (around half a block), cover again and leave it for 10 minutes (for chocolate to melt; without turning the slow cooker on). Serve warm with vanilla ice. Enjoy!

Crock pot desserts are my favourite – so tasty and easy to make!

  1. Mila, Thank you for the recipe which I will make with my apple orchard recipes tomorrow. I have acorn squash and apples in the crock pot right now! I love crock pot cooking. I feel centered when I know a hot meal is taken care of which allows me to continue working.

  2. I will make the crumble which is just flour, small bits of cold butter, salt and sugar or brown sugar…I think. If I go light on the sugar this would be a lower calorie treat than apple pie, but with CHOCOLATE!
