Two years after Symprove 12 week programme…
Two years ago I took part in Symprove 12 week programme. I was having a bad case of IBS, I was experiencing pain and cramps every day. My day to day life had become a nightmare. Doctors had no other advice than maintaining healthy diet and taking antispasmodic medicine, but the problem was – it wasn’t helping. I felt there’s more to it and eliminating fodmaps won’t cut it. How am I doing 2 years after Symprove 12 week programme?
Symprove has changed everything. My everyday life was back to normal, without the unpleasantness of constant cramps, pain, and other IBS related symptoms. It was very encouraging to feel positive changes immediately after taking the first dose. You can read about my journey here:
I combined Symprove 12 week programme with low fodmap diet & yoga. I started meditating, too. I buy maintenance pack once every 8 months, to keep my gut flora in the best shape possible. Low FODmap diet is no longer a must. Nowadays, I mix low and high fodmaps for best nutritional results. It’s easier to reintroduce high fodmaps after Symprove course because your guts start to react differently. You can relax, try new foods or high fodmap favorites.
Are there any side effects of taking Symprove?
What I like about Symprove is that I hadn’t experienced any upsetting side effects. After taking the first dose I felt gurgling in the stomach, a bit of nausea, and a big hunger afterward. That’s it!
The leaflet says that you may experience diarrhea at the beginning of the treatment, but I hadn’t had any problems. Benefits of taking probiotics were obvious from the get go. It seemed that my guts had finally started to work properly.
