Exercising may be very helpful in treating your irritable bowel syndrome.
Some exercises are designed to make your body stretch & relax, and therefore they can relieve IBS-related belly tensions and aches. If you’re just starting to exercise, please go easy on yourself! Start with walking and easy yoga position, and then try harder stuff. Avoid crash and burn situations. If you’re working out too hard, you may aggravate your symptoms, instead of easing them.
Helpful tips:
– Avoid eating before exercising.
– Drink plenty of water.
– Avoid drinking caffeine before exercising.
– Wear comfortable clothes.
